Reviews: Castellana Caves & Polignano by Boat – From Bari & Polignano

Before the planned day of booking, the organizer correctly indicated that the boat would probably not be able to depart due to weather conditions, so they recommended an alternative program or the option of rebooking. We took the latter and did not regret it! We felt fantastic! The program was the highlight of our week-long vacation. The transfer arrived on time for us everywhere. The stalactite cave is beautiful, not to be missed if anyone is going there! In the afternoon, the boat departed without any problems, Domenico (the captain) is a real showman, we had a great time the whole time and saw wonderful beaches and sea caves. We recommend the program and the organizer to everyone! <3★

Reviews: Visit to the Castellana Caves and Free Time in Polignano a Mare

Really enjoyed the caves and brief visit to Polignano. Minibus arrived there before 10am but tour wasn't until 11am and there’s not much else to do there apart from get a coffee at one of the nearby cafes, which was fine. The caves themselves are absolutely amazing and beautiful, especially the white cave which is breathtaking. The guided tour is well presented and our guide was very knowledgeable. A word of warning to anyone with a heart or respiratory condition. Our guide said anyone with lung or heart problems should consider if they want to do the full tour (which is a 3km walk and nearly 100% humidity in places). I have controlled asthma and thought I’d be fine but I did find it a bit challenging on my lungs, glad I had my inhaler! Lovely lunch in Polignano a Mare, the Red Bull cliff diving was going on so it there was a lovely buzzing atmosphere.★

We loved being on the water. The guide gave fun history of the caves and area including folklore. The swim time was fun and relaxing. Definitely worth the money for a few hours on the water.★
