Mary reached out the day before via WhatsApp and answered my logistic questions. Overall I’m very happy I joined her tour. She is patient, upbeat, and explained well without being overwhelming. Perhaps I’m out of shape, but this ~5 hours walking tour was intense during the last hour or so. Be sure to wear comfiest shoes and bundled up! Also I’m glad Mary’s notes did mention bringing drinks and snacks with you. The snack shops inside the Forbidden City were too long to wait.★

I'm thrilled! It was a wonderful experience and a perfect ending to my stay in Beijing. I was thrilled with the professionalism of the entire studio team. They did a quick and beautiful makeup and hair session. The photographer was very positive, and despite the language barrier, I had no trouble understanding him. I highly recommend bringing back some beautiful photos of yourself in a princess costume from China and feeling like a drama heroine thanks to the professional stage—it was the best decision I've ever made. Our tour guide, Li Xue, was very professional and polite. Her explanations were engaging and clear, and she could describe the architecture of the Forbidden City, down to every brick and tile, in great detail, sharing many interesting stories. She also interacted with the group members during her explanations. Our family was very satisfied. I highly recommend hiring a guided tour when visiting the Forbidden City.★
