Reviews: Angkor Wat Small Group Tour and Sunset with Lunch included

The itinerary was very tight, and our guide, Mony, spoke excellent English with such a perfect British accent that I almost wondered if he was a student studying abroad, haha. Because it was a bus tour, there was unlimited ice water, air conditioning, and chilled towels. Most importantly, the day tour, which cost just over 130 RMB, included a Khmer lunch… I checked the menu, and it normally costs 50 RMB per meal… It was definitely great value for money. The bus will pick you up from your hotel and take you back, or you can leave the group and return to your hotel early – you're very flexible. The group consisted of tourists from all over the world, creating a great atmosphere and a relatively safe environment, so you can explore with peace of mind!
Reviews: Angkor Wat one Day Private Tour for All Highlight Angkor Temples
Guest User2025-12-24
Overall, we had a wonderful private tour with Pen Sin (nicknamed Ten Tin) and our driver, Sophal. Visiting Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples with them will remain one of our most memorable travel highlights. From the very start, everything ran smoothly. We were picked up promptly from our hotel, and Pen Sin efficiently helped us purchase our Angkor passes at the ticket office in under five minutes. The itinerary was thoughtfully structured, covering the iconic temples while also including lesser-visited sites that felt peaceful and refreshingly untouched by mass tourism. The vehicle was comfortable, and both Pen Sin and Sophal were incredibly warm and attentive throughout the day. Cold water was always available, and we appreciated how flexible the schedule was — they were genuinely happy to adjust the pace or plan based on our preferences. The restaurant they recommended was excellent value and offered a great range of local Cambodian dishes, from Lok Lak to Amok, along with some Western options. We were extremely pleased with the tour overall and everything we experienced. The only minor consideration is that the level of English occasionally made explanations a little difficult to follow. This didn’t bother us personally, as we were content to take in the atmosphere and beauty of the temples, but travelers who are particularly interested in in-depth historical or cultural commentary may want to keep this in mind. That said, Pen Sin’s kindness, organisation, and genuine care made this a fantastic experience. Recommended!
Reviews: 1-Day Angkor Wat Sunrise & All Interesting Temples Private Tour
Guest User2025-10-08
Booked the private tour to Angkor National Park with ‘HAPPY ANGKOR TOUR’. Our guide, Vanna, and driver, San, were very professional throughout the day. Vanna was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the histogram the temples which made our excursion very interesting. We can’t recommend this tour guide and driver enough. In spite of very humid conditions we were well looked after with plenty of cold water and cold towels. Overall the experience of Angkor park was one not to be missed. A really fascinating window into Cambodia’s fascinating culture and history. Thank you Vanna and San from Kevin and Deborah (UK).
