Reviews: Dinner and Show of Tang Dynasty Palace in Xian

The performance was beautiful, but the location itself looks like a dive bar. This spoiled the experience. The performance was short, about 40 minutes.

The banquet was a good event, but the third-party service platform's attitude was extremely poor. No one was willing to help. The Spring Festival holiday ticket rush conflicted with the banquet time, and I wanted a refund. It was incredibly difficult to get a refund. I booked a 3:30 PM ticket, and the day before, I called the platform. They told me to call 95010 to "negotiate a refund with the merchant." I called another number, and they kept saying I was joking, then that they hadn't received any information, then that the Zhang family (the platform's name) was wrong, then the Li family (the platform's name) was wrong. The third call: "Look at the refund requirements yourself. I can give you feedback, but I don't know the outcome." I didn't need this service; I didn't want to put up with this. The next morning, I contacted them again, and the fourth thing they said was, "Look at the regulations yourself." Everyone's answer was "Look at the regulations," which are practically the national constitution. Even if a refund is impossible, this is the attitude they should have.

Reviews: Xi'an Local Multilingual Private Guide - In-depth Guide, Admission Ticket Booking, Itinerary Planning, Foodie Spots [Optional Languages: English, Day Tour, Russian, French, Korean, etc.]

Thank you, Teacher An Yue, for your explanation. You were kind, approachable, and professional, using simple and easy-to-understand language. While explaining the archaeological museum's collection, you skillfully connected it with precious artifacts from other museums, creating a layered and integrated experience. This made the seemingly distant field of archaeology come alive, giving us a more three-dimensional and comprehensive understanding of the historical context behind the artifacts. It was a very rewarding and meaningful visit. My child and I both learned a great deal.

Choosing this tour guide for my foreign friends in Xi'an was such a wise decision! I highly recommend her to anyone bringing expatriates to Xi'an! Her explanations perfectly addressed the needs of my foreign friends. At the Xi'an Museum and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, she didn't bombard them with obscure jargon. Instead, she used a historical comparison perspective familiar to foreigners to break down the stories behind the artifacts—for example, when discussing the Tang Dynasty terracotta figurines in the museum, she connected them to the characteristics of contemporary Western artifacts; when explaining the construction background of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, she incorporated the logic of religious propagation. My friends listened attentively throughout, constantly asking questions about details. Besides her professional depth, her service was also incredibly thoughtful: she prepared English brochures for the attractions in advance, slowed down the pace for exhibits that interested my friends, and even recommended local restaurants suitable for expatriates after the tour. Throughout the trip, my friends kept praising her, saying, "She's the tour guide who understands us best!" They truly felt it was excellent value for money, and they'll definitely choose her again next time they bring foreign friends to Xi'an!
