It was a wonderful tour. We were greeted promptly at the reception by our guide, who was very well-organized, friendly, and knowledgeable. Along the way, he explained a lot, describing the different cultures in the smaller villages and buying us bananas from a local vendor. At Paradise Valley, the guide catered completely to our wishes and needs. This hike is not recommended for older people or those with physical limitations.★

A beautiful excursion to a stunning location, with a pleasant swim in the natural pools of the valley's springs (be careful, it's slippery!).
However, it's not for everyone; it involves a good half-hour walk, first downhill and then uphill, on paths that are rocky in places.★

They are very professional. The massage room was small , clean, and comfortable. The massage was very relaxing, though she didn’t rub any massage oil and skin contact was limited strictly to the part of the body she was working on. She worked mostly on neck, shoulders, back and limbs in 60 min.★

I booked the Diamond spa treatment through Trip. I enjoyed the body and facial massage, but the hair wash and ear cleaning weren't my favorite. The therapist was great, she did everything well, but I felt like she was sometimes pulling my hair while washing and rubbing my scalp too hard. Maybe I just have a sensitive scalp, but the process wasn't very pleasant at times. Ear cleaning is an unpleasant procedure in itself, but it's necessary. I also got a pedicure, which I actually liked, but I thought the therapist would treat my heels and feet, but she only did my nails. At the end of the treatment, I was treated to coconut snacks and yogurt, which was a nice touch. By the way, the salon offers a free shuttle service if you live within a 6 km radius. I booked it the night before and the manager confirmed it. The car arrived in the morning, which was a really nice bonus.★

As a Japanese resident, I highly recommend this spa. Although they don't speak Japanese, I can recommend this spa to anyone visiting Hanoi on business or sightseeing, thanks to the therapists' treatment skills and the hospitality of the reception staff. This time, I chose a 90-minute full-body oil massage. You can choose from four different oil scents.
