Guide Hu was very professional. He demonstrated an understanding of the cultural heritage of this scholarly family and was amazed by the carved beams and painted rafters of the old houses and courtyards. These historical and cultural villages would be a rushed experience without a guide. The itinerary was well-planned; after Xidi, we even had a convenient stop at Yixian East Station – the timing was perfect. Thank you so much!

This one-day tour combines architecture, waterways, and culture, with Guide Fan leading the way to the highlights and explaining the history, culture, and attractions behind them. There's also ample free time. Guide Fan's explanations are detailed and well-paced, and he even proactively helped us take photos. Driver Wu was also very attentive, and both he and Guide Fan took great care of the elderly members of the group.

Saturday was sunny and pleasant, and I had the privilege of visiting the ancient villages of Hongcun and Xidi under the guidance of Director He. The trip was relaxed and enjoyable, with a worry-free itinerary and excellent explanations.

This trip to Hongcun and Xidi was made even better by our guide! Before departure, he thoughtfully reminded us of the weather and what to wear, the itinerary was well-planned, avoiding peak hours and crowds, and we even allowed ample time for photos. His explanations were incredibly professional, vividly and thoroughly explaining the architectural secrets of Xidi and the wisdom of Hongcun's water system—the fire-resistant principles of the horse-head walls, the auspicious meanings of brick and wood carvings, and the cultural connotations of "four waters returning to the hall"—all woven into engaging stories, giving the white walls and black tiles a warm touch.

He was patient and considerate throughout, proactively helping us take group photos and recommending authentic and affordable Huizhou restaurants with no hidden costs. He took excellent care of us, answering all our questions with great patience. Without a guide, the ancient villages would have felt like a superficial visit; with his explanations, we truly understood Huizhou culture and the spirit of Huizhou merchants. This trip was both scenic and educational—a must-see!

去西递宏村，没有讲解就是看个热闹玩个寂寞，所以订了这个携程优选的一日游。司机师傅准时酒店门口接，主动帮助放行李，美女导游小章专业热情，一上车就开始讲解徽州历史，上午去宏村，进入景区细致解读徽派建筑（如“三雕”）、风水布局（如月沼“牛胃”之说）等历史文化，下午去西递，对人文底蕴浓厚的西递的介绍，让游览更具深度，优质导游让“看景”升级为“读史”

A trip to Xidi and Hongcun would be a lonely one without a guide, so I booked this one-day tour from Ctrip. The driver picked us up at the hotel on time and offered to help with our luggage. Our beautiful tour guide, Xiao Zhang, was professional and enthusiastic, and began explaining Huizhou history as soon as we got on the bus. In the morning, we visited Hongcun, where we were given a detailed explanation of Huizhou-style architecture (such as the "Three Sculptures") and feng shui layout (such as the "cow stomach" of Yuezhao). In the afternoon, we went to Xidi, where the introduction to Xidi, a place rich in cultural heritage, made our visit more in-depth. The excellent tour guide transformed our "viewing the scenery" into "reading history."
