Everything you would want it to be and more! I knew nothing about Zhangjiajie, except that my daughter had learned about it in high school and wanted to go. So I booked this excursion blindly and it was fabulous! Wendy was our tour guide and she went above and beyond to make our day great. From hotel pickup to history, and culture of the National park she was right on point. The mountains were beautiful, the cable car was fun, and we had a great day. Wendy took the time to show us some sites that were off the beaten path and was so very patient with all of the pictures we took. She even recommended some things for our next day that was an amazing day as well. Hint: We went at the end of August and had no lines or crowds. We were told the weeks before were crazy crowded.★

We decided to take my parents and kids to Zhangjiajie for New Year's Day.
After reading countless travel guides, I was completely overwhelmed, especially with elderly people and children traveling together. In the end, we chose this private tour through Ctrip. They provided pick-up and drop-off service, and a guide accompanied us throughout the trip! It was definitely worth it.
The scenery in Zhangjiajie is breathtaking, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the rarest snowfall of the year!
Our guide was Liao Qin. Her explanations were excellent. We communicated with her a day in advance, knowing my parents' mobility issues meant they couldn't walk too much, so she tried to take us on the park's transportation as much as possible, and we saw all the highlights! We were extremely satisfied! If we had tried to find our own way, we probably wouldn't have been able to see all the beautiful sights in a day!
The group bus picked us up directly from the hotel. It was convenient and saves us a lot of trouble. The bus was also very clean, and the driver's driving skills were excellent!
We'll definitely come back for a second visit when the weather is nice! Zhangjiajie is definitely worth it!★

Tianmen Mountain truly lives up to its reputation as a 5A-level scenic spot in Zhangjiajie. We happened to be there during a heavy snowfall, which made it feel like a fairyland. The tour guide service was excellent, and the explanations were top-notch. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance.★
