We absolutely loved our private boat tour with Captain Marvins in Grand Cayman. We did this as a cruise excursion on Carnival Liberty. Our skipper and first mate were Mitchy from Dominican Republic and Maurice from Jamaica. They were both sooo helpful and so friendly. 1000 stars for them both.
Our group was 9 people ages 16-75yrs. Some of us needed extra help getting in and out of the boat and both Mitchy and Maurice went way above and beyond to make sure we were all able to participate and they helped us all to feel safe. They were so amazing!
The water at the Stingray sandbar was super choppy when we went. I had been here 4 times and it was never choppy before. It made pictures and everything more difficult but Mitchy and Maurice were so great.
They told us about how Grand Cayman cares for the stingrays and makes sure they are able to still hunt and not getting harmed by humans.
We loved the starfish point too. It was farther out so keep that in mind if you are in a time limit.
Even the Cap Marvins office guy was super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!★

If I could give this tour 10 stars I would! Our tour guide was phenomenal! Stingray city was UNREAL! The BLUEST water I have ever seen!!! In the middle of the ocean interacting with giant gentle stingrays was a dream!! Our guide made sure every person got to feed and hold the stingrays. And we all got to interact in our own groups while having pictures taken (available for purchase but not expected) and we were also able to get pics and videos from the photographer with our own phones which was really nice to capture these once in a life time moments! He even served us fresh Conch straight from the shell! Delicious! The music and boat ride were a total vibe! Amazing experience!! ★
