We visited the World War II museum during Mardi Gras. One of the best experiences we had in New Orleans. The movie was very dramatic and well done. We highly recommend it. We continued with a self guided tour. Lots of interactive exhibits. Ended the day with lunch in the museum cafe. Service and food were fabulous, especially the oysters. The museum is a “must see” for all Americans.★

Having been to Normandy(Omaha and Utah beaches), this was a great experience. There is more than a day's time if you are a WWII buff or enthusiast. Both my son and I have read a ton of books about WWII and other major wars. The holocaust area was extremely well done and emotional. We did see things we had not seen in Normandy and the museums there. The restoration of artifacts was really great with some incredible detail of original pieces. I wish could have come back for another 1/2 of date even after spending 6 hours there. ★

Loved seeing the city from the top of the bus. It was wonderful. Viewing the beads in the trees and the beautiful iron work on the galleries and balconies was delightful. Very knowledgeable tour guides.★
