We joined a one-day tour from Kyoto, departing from Kyoto Station at 9:40 AM and returning around 6 PM. The day was incredibly fulfilling. The waters of Amanohashidate were crystal clear, and the Ine Boathouse was ancient and unique. Our tour guide, Cui Haihua, spoke both Chinese and Korean, and provided detailed explanations. The itinerary was well-organized, and the guides made the trip relaxing and enjoyable. Highlights: The cable car and boat ride are a must-try; it's a worthwhile experience.★

I like the places we went. The activities are fun especially the feeding of seagulls. Our tour guide, Bunny is friendly and helpful. She took nice photos for us and will find out with the local staff with our enquiry. She can speak Chinese, English and Japanese. Good experience. Highly recommended.★

Extremely satisfied! The itinerary was very comfortable, neither too fast nor too slow. It's perfect for a day trip to distant attractions. Our guide, Bunny, was lovely, patient, and very helpful to those with mobility issues – fantastic! Thank you for giving us such an unforgettable day! For such a far trip, joining a tour group was the best option. The itinerary was reasonably timed, not too rushed. Our tour guide, Momo, was attentive and enthusiastic; she even offered to take photos for me when she saw I was alone. The driver was also very steady, and the vehicle was in good condition. Overall, it was a very pleasant trip.★

🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate
1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
→ Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
→ Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
→ Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
→ Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
→ Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800).
→ Touch the "Manjushri Wisdom Wheel" and spin it three times; legend says it will make you smarter!
