Our guide, Zhang, provided professional and detailed explanations, effortlessly weaving historical anecdotes into the story, avoiding a rote recitation and making the red walls and yellow tiles vivid and engaging. The route was well-planned, the pace comfortable, and he was patient and attentive throughout, reminding us of photo spots and tips for avoiding peak hours.
