Getting to the meeting place was luckily close to our hotel (Historico Central Hotel). Not a far walk for us. The tour guides were so helpful and easy to locate them too (they wore shirts with their logo). The group was split with English speakers and Spanish speakers. We did a lot of walking but when we went place to place we had the bus. The longest drive was probably 45 mins and it was a perfect nap time. Make sure to bring pesos with you since they rip you off with dollars. Frida Kahlo Museum was amazing and worth it to include it with your tour.

It was a good trip, beautiful places visited. Everything promised was delivered. The tour was punctual. The guide, Omar, was professional and always on the job. I was surprised that there were no comments along the way. There are always things that could be shared about the towns, their products, economic activities, or businesses, etc. Perhaps the guide could have added some personal insights, but we traveled in silence, and on the way back, he seemed to be asleep. It's nothing personal; maybe I'm just more demanding. The pre-Hispanic mine was a fabulous experience (led by a local guide). Thank you for the experience. Highly recommended.


