Reviews: Private Half Day West Bank Tour to Valley of the Kings Queen Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

We had the best day ever with Salwa and Syeead!!! Salwa explained us so many things to know about the temples, the tombs, and the Egyptian culture. She knows so much! We were really impressed by her knowledge and we appreciated a lot that we shared so much with us! She let us take all the time we wanted to visit what we wanted to see, even extra tombs in the valley of the kings. She was generous and enthousiast during the whole day. She even gave us advices and helped us book another tour to Abidos and Denderah. Thank you so much Salwa, you are the best guide we had and you made our day a success!!! And thank you Syeead for driving us everywhere, always with a smile in his face and opening the door for us ^^ Salwa Syeead

Mummy of Tutankhamun. Valley of the Kings is interesting place, after you visit in Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo you can complete your Fharao tour in Walley of the Kings in Luxor. Be ready to walk difficult terrain in heat because some places are far away from gate and you have to walk on rocks and sand on high hills to reach sone places. And also some of the stairs are difficult angle. so be careful. Heat in walley is awesome and air is really dry but when you go inside/underground to graves you really feel the heat, first you feel cool because you get in shade but in deed underground is hot again. But it's nothing compared to Finnish sauna. Mummy of Tutankhamun is sherry on top, don't miss it. 🤗

Organised through the fantastic Aracan Eataby hotel where we stayed, who tailored a day in the West Bank to the places we wanted to see which included the wonderful Habu temple. Our guide Ramez was very knowledgeable giving us information before allowing us to wander and take photos ourselves at each place. Transport was good, always ready to ferry us from place to place with the day starting at 10am and finishing at 4.30pm door to door. Tour price did not include tickets for Valley of Kings, Hatshupset and Habu temples and whilst not cheap for our family of 4 as a private group, I'd consider it worth the money for overall a great experience.
