Pilar was a fantastic guide. She was deeply knowledgeable about the region and Basque traditions and culture. Seeing Gaztelugatxe and hearing its history made it so much more interesting. Eating the local bonito in Mundaka was a real treat. The information about Guernica as a civic center made the horror of bombings come to life and gave real perspective to Picasso’s masterpiece. The van was comfortable. Tour size was small enough to be intimate. Overall great value and wonderful experience!★
