Meet at meeting point: New Orleans Creole Cookery Orleans Parish,Louisiana,United States Departure point: New Orleans Creole Cookery, 510 Toulouse, a historic restaurant with wonderful ambiance, and a gorgeous courtyard.Attractions and Activities: French Quarter (Free entry) Prepare yourself for a great afternoon with the Tour That Tastes Good! You will be greeted by one of our good-looking and brainy tour guides, who will be eager to escort you to historic restaurants with wonderful ambiance. There you will taste mouthwatering local dishes, such as Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, and the Muffaletta sandwich. A praline for dessert is included! You will glide through our fabulous French Quarter, founded in 1718. You will admire historic St. Louis Cathedral, named after King Louis IX, who was truly a Saint. He led the seventh and eighth Crusades back in the 13th century. Across the way from the Cathedral is beautiful Jackson Square. If you are interested, the 1850 House on the Square has a nice selection of cookbooks and history books. Regarding the diverse architecture, there is no other place in the country like it.
