It is accessible from two entrances. The first entrance is an inclined walk to the top and the other is around the hill which is an easy ride in a vehicle. As being a Buddhist pilgrimage site, it consists of many Hindu temples around the hilltop showing the harmony of both religions. On the way to the Stupa, you can see many shrines and vendors with similar collections of mementos along with monkeys roaming around freely. Each of these Chowks has its distinctive features. Sundari Chowk has various statues and stoned architecture. Mul Chowk has many sculptures and statues; thus, it is guarded due to the danger of thievery. Keshav Narayan Chowk is the museum of Patan Durbar Square.
