I would absolutely recommend this trip. Our guide, Caroline, was just lovely, very knowledgeable, and shared lots of interesting information about both the places we visited and Amsterdam itself. It wasn’t a trip where you’re talked at constantly. She gave us just the right amount of information, keeping it engaging without ever becoming boring.
We loved seeing the windmills, learning about clogs, and watching the cheese making, plus the tasting was fantastic. Make sure you try the rum hot chocolate, it’s delicious 😍
Our driver, David, was also super friendly and gave us great suggestions for the area. We can’t thank Caroline and David enough, it was a really fab start to our trip to Amsterdam.★

It was a very enjoyable day trip. The itinerary was relaxed and not tiring. Our tour guide, Su Rui, was very enthusiastic, attentive, and friendly. She patiently explained things repeatedly. The bus drove very smoothly, and everyone in the group had a great time. We were also very lucky that even though it was cloudy, the scenic spots had blue skies and white clouds, making for great photos. It was definitely a worthwhile day trip.★

Amazing day! Our guides shared lots of information about the village and Amsterdam, they were friendly and funny! We had lunch at the restaurant near the boat and it was delicious. The village was beautiful, so peaceful and pretty, highly recommend this tour.★

Highly recommended! Amazing service. My family and I joined the tour on 5 January 2026. It was a small group of six, and the car was very cozy and comfortable. We had a great time at Zaanse Schans, but due to heavy snowfall (which is very rare in the Netherlands), it became too dangerous to continue to Giethoorn. Our guide, Rachied, made the right and responsible decision by prioritizing everyone’s safety and driving us back to Amsterdam Central. Throughout the journey, he reassured us that we would receive a partial refund. Shortly after the trip, I received a message from Ibrahim offering a refund of more than half of the booking price. This is exactly the kind of service you hope for—people who truly care about your safety and are fair and professional, even when circumstances are beyond their control. I highly recommend IBA Tours.★

I had an amazing day at Giethoorn even though it was misty. The guide Jay was energetic throughout the trip, he was sharing lots of information about Netherlands and all places en route, the Giethoorn as well. Timing was perfect. Since it's freezing outside, he gave us all the option to decide collectively when to leave or move, that's very helpful in that situation. The canal cruise was great as well, experienced the boat cruising through ice breaking it, it turned out way above expection. Would definitely recommend this trip.
