Standing before the "Number One Blessing Under Heaven," she highlighted the Chinese people's spiritual pursuits, while the Western-style gate revealed the clash of eras. After the tour, half of the Qing Dynasty's history was understood. Throughout the trip, she frequently interacted with the children, igniting their passion for historical exploration. It was a truly wonderful travel experience.★

Mary reached out the day before via WhatsApp and answered my logistic questions. Overall I’m very happy I joined her tour. She is patient, upbeat, and explained well without being overwhelming. Perhaps I’m out of shape, but this ~5 hours walking tour was intense during the last hour or so. Be sure to wear comfiest shoes and bundled up! Also I’m glad Mary’s notes did mention bringing drinks and snacks with you. The snack shops inside the Forbidden City were too long to wait.★
