We were thinking about doing a Forbidden City visit on our own but now know it would have been a huge mistake. On our own, we could have appreciated the beauty of the architecture but not much more. Touring with this company was a great move. In addition to giving the deep history of Forbidden City, our guide Herbie, presented details on the philosophy, religion, and superstitions that resulted in the design, architecture, and use of the palace. And he was fun. This was a great tour and learning experience for my family of 5.★

A very good tour, I loved everything, thanks to the guide and the tour organizers. I booked the day before the tour because all tickets to the Forbidden City were already sold out two weeks in advance, and I'm very glad I was able to visit both the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China.★
