Benedict Martin is a fantastic guide - knowledgeable, full of excellent anecdotes relating to the historical places and the famous people associated with those sites. He has a delightful sense of humor which enlivened the whole walk. My daughter and I found ourselves chuckling from time to time at his wry commentary about some of the foibles, noteworthy aspects, or eccentricities of some of the historical entities along our walk. I recommend him wholeheartedly. Even though we had had only four hours of sleep the night before, we did not feel sleepy or bored at any point. He is a treasure. P.S. It was great to see the London night view from a cruise ship. Since it was a pier near Tower Bridge, I arrived a little early and there was a Starbucks nearby, so I was able to rest and watch the cruise ship. The location was good.★
