Despite the long drive and the poor roads due to the recent heavy rainfall, it was definitely worth it. Many trips drop you off somewhere and leave you to figure things out for yourself. Here, we had a local guide who took his time, but also had plenty of free time. A large, comfortable bus and a perfect driver who kept a sharp eye on every dip and pothole. Better than 8 or 9 hours with eight people in a minivan!★

A really fun tour through the medina. We stopped for a bite to eat here and there. Our guide, Hussein, spoke excellent English and had a lot to share. We also made the obligatory visits to the friendly leather seller, copper seller, and fabric seller... it's all part of the experience. You don't have to buy anything.★

yassine and amal were excellent. they were patient while we shopped and answered the questions we had regarding the souk. Amal was a good teacher and excellent cook. in the end we had a great meal. Unfortunately we never received a copy of the recipes, as we were promised. I think that was thd tour company's issue and not the Dar Sunrise's.
