Our guide was called Elena, a very good and kind person, she was able to explain everything to us from the secrets of the castles to the things we saw on the road during the journey, we only visited the Pelesh castle but both are spectacular experiences that enter your heart highly recommended.

Very cold in general so you need good clothing because there is a lot of waiting. Even though we arrived early at the castles before they opened we waited an hour in line to get in because there were a lot of people. Peles Castle is amazing!!! Brasov is nice, nothing special with a large pedestrian street for a walk and a clean city. We spent about an hour and a half eating and walking there. And finally Bran Castle is not as impressive as you imagine the legend of Dracula. The return trip took about 3 and a half hours due to traffic. Our guide Mattia was amazing, explanatory and helpful!!! A nice day trip that you should do if you are in Romania.

Lovely experience , long day but made easier with our lovely guide and driver Marius , who gave a lot of historical facts and life in Romania in general..This was a better idea than going with the tour bus definitely as we had two young kids . We went to peles castle then castle where the film Wednesday was filmed ( not in the tour but driver made a detour ) and then Bran castle and Braşov in the end . Marius stopped for toilets and was a very enjoyable company throughout . Would definitely recommend booking a private tour !!!

Dani the guide was very knowledgeable, funny and helpful. Good value for money - a long (apx 12hours) but great day - lots packed in and all 3 stops were fab. Tickets from Dani are €60 (or 300 Lei) for entry to both castles, extensive information for both castles and for the black church in Brasov. Payment can be cash or card but you need data on your phone for card payments as you have to follow a link from a QR code. The bus leaves promptly at 7am but there is a strict no eating on board policy so have breakfast before boarding (drinks were allowed). Lots to see on the drive also - get the feel for real Romanian. Would definitely recommend. 5stars 👌

After reading reviews of this tour, I expected to be forgotten somewhere, threatened with extra money, treated rudely, and so on. And, at the very least, an old and dirty bus. BUT! The tour was wonderful! The bus was comfortable, the driver was awesome, and the guide, Mattia, was attentive and polite. He kept a list of all the passengers, checked and counted them at every stop, and when necessary, ran around looking for latecomers. We bought tickets to Peles Castle online and went to see it ourselves. In Brasov, we went to the Black Church and then ate at the Gustsri restaurant. To sum it up: the tour was worth every penny, a pure pleasure!

What a fantastic way to see the countryside of Romania! Our tour guide, Sonia, was superb! We cannot say enough about how friendly, helpful and and knowledgeable she is. Made this trip the best we have done. One note if caution, the castles, particularly Bran Castle, requires walking up very steep inclines and and lot of steps...well worth it but be prepared.
