Kostas was such a hospitable and knowledgeable guide. A source of all things historical and cretian we were impressed by his communication, attention to detail and general care for our experience. I would highly recommend Kostas whatever your needs may be as he was able to customize eveything to our needs; make recommendations and changes as needed and on the fly. We stopped at the most wonderful local taverna in herklion during our travels and really were able to maximize our short time in this beautiful place. This was surely the most interesting and unique excursion we did in Crete! Spyros was an amazing driver and guide, showing us off-the-beaten path scenery in the Lasithi Plateau and nearby small mountain towns. We picked and enjoyed fresh strawberries, drank delicious wine and so much more, in addition to visiting the Palace of Knossos. Highly recommend!★

A tour in the desired language (here: German) with insights into the culture, landscape, and the must-see, hidden, and typical spots of Crete. My only issue was with the restaurant they took us to. After we had our meal, they informed us that they would only accept cash because the Wi-Fi in the area was not working. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough cash on hand. The waiter suggested that we ask money from our fellow passengers and then send it to them online (but why and how?). It was quite embarrassing. Fortunately, the driver agreed to take cash from us in the city and return to the restaurant the next day. The guide was not helpful either. It was quite inconvenient to feel trapped in that situation. Otherwise, it was a very good experience.★

A fantastic day, organisation without fault, guide super, gorge spectacular.
Coach was air conditioned which was a god send at the end of the day as the last 3km of the walk was hot beyond anything I've experienced (although from the UK so not a high bar!), really well driven on some very mountainous roads.
Guide gave just the right amount of information and some interesting facts during the coach journey without overdoing it. Available without being in in your face, basicly you make your own way down while she swept up any stragglers to ensure every makes the ferry.
The gorge is spectacular and I would recommend to anyone interested. It is nearly all down hill but it is rough ground. I wore trainers which I would not recommend if you have hiking boots (I did not bring them to Crete), by the end the soles of my feet were suffering from the rough ground. It is also very hot, especally the last 3km from the National Park exit to the ferry. It's tough but very much worth the effort, time and cost.★

This is a wonderful tour. George our driver was very professional and Sophia our tour guide was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable. There is no way we would have learned as much on our own at these sites. The only caution is make sure you understand the port you are traveling into for how long the tour will be. We docked in Chania so it was a two hour drive to get to the other side of the island. That was my oversight. If you dock in Heraklion, you are 10 minutes away. A tour worth taking
