Benedict Martin is a fantastic guide - knowledgeable, full of excellent anecdotes relating to the historical places and the famous people associated with those sites. He has a delightful sense of humor which enlivened the whole walk. My daughter and I found ourselves chuckling from time to time at his wry commentary about some of the foibles, noteworthy aspects, or eccentricities of some of the historical entities along our walk. I recommend him wholeheartedly. Even though we had had only four hours of sleep the night before, we did not feel sleepy or bored at any point. He is a treasure. P.S. The history shared throughout the tour was fascinating, and I loved the thoughtful touch of introducing songs connected to the places we visited. I absolutely loved this tour! James was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable of the areas we went & had a great sense of humor. I loved the Cotswolds Villages the most- so beautiful & quaint. Oxford was absolutely stunning! Lots of things to do to keep you busy.
As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe the entire trip. All instructions for meet up points and time were clear. Highly recommend!★
