This trip is highly recommended. The pace was not too fast nor too slow. It was a great way to see so much in one day. Our tour guide Mikah was very helpful. Our driver kept us safe. Also do not miss Perlan. Staff were very very nice and the shows were great!★

The lava show itself and the guides were excellent. Our only concern was with the upgraded seating and additional behind the scenes look. Viewing the furnace, while neat if the engineering interests you, isn’t much to look at. It’s a furnace. The extra behind the scenes was a couple minute video about the furnace. We probably would’ve enjoyed being closer on the first floor rather than in the balcony as well. That said, the extra cost gets you a beverage and a souvenir piece of lava (also available in the gift shop) so there is value in the extra spend. All in all, very cool, educational, and toasty warm being so close to molten lava.Trip.com Picks
