What a beautiful and serene venue, right in the middle of the busy Gion neighborhood. Our hostess was wonderful! She was very informative and engaging. She took the time to make us feel comfortable and relaxed before the Tea Master arrived. The ceremony took place in an exquisite tatami room overlooking a lovely zen garden. It was beautifully performed and we had full explanations and a chance to ask questions. We even had a chance to have our picture taken in front of the tokonoma and garden windows. A lovely experience!
