The activity is relatively relaxed. If you like elephants and aren't afraid to interact with them or soak in their droppings, you can give it a try. Basically, if young children can't handle it, they'll find it less worthwhile. Therefore, it ultimately depends on individual preference.
Reviews: CHIANG RAI Iconic White, Blue Temple, Black House Museum with Long Neck Tribe Day Tour
Guest User2026-02-16
The trip is as described. I enjoyed the whole experience and there was plenty of time for sightseeing and taking photos although you will spend a lot of time in the van. Tiring but wonderful.
Reviews: Chiang Mai Namtok Bua Tong-Nam Phu Chet Si National Park half-day tour/1-day tour [optional Chiang Mai Blue Temple/Tiger Kingdom]
Guest User2026-03-27
The tour only includes transportation; everything else is self-service due to the distance. You'll need to plan your own activities and activities once you arrive. There's no guide; you're on your own. To take photos with the elephants, you'll need to buy small bananas (100 taels each) to feed them. Meals are also served to the elephants and are at your own expense.
Reviews: Chiang Mai Departure | Hot Spring + White, Black & Blue Temples Day Tour [Optional Long Neck Village & Singha Park]
Guest User2025-01-28
The time is ok. However some stops are so short like in the hot springs that with 15 min you can barely enjoy it. On the other hand, I would wish the long neck village would feel more authentic.
