What a wonderful variety of the best of the Hobart area! From the Mt. Field National Park forest to the Bonorong Sanctuary and finally the summit of Mt. Wellington we were treated to experiences we could not have accessed on our own without a great deal of driving and effort. Thankfully we had an expert driver who kept us moving but gave us plenty of time to immerse in each location.
Reviews: 3-hour wilderness cruise around Tasman Island, Tasmania [optional Port Arthur/Tasmania Devil Zoo]
Guest User2026-01-13
It was a foreign tour group, and the entire tour was conducted in English. The cruise was spectacular; we saw unique landforms, seals, and the biggest surprise was seeing many dolphins. Brunch was simple: coffee and bread. Lunch was sandwiches. We also visited the Port Arthur historical site to see the prison. The environment inside was excellent and very beautiful, just be careful as there was a lot of what looked like kangaroo droppings on the ground. Although we left very early in the morning, we returned early as well, so we weren't too tired.

Reviews: Port Arthur and Tasman Sights with Harbour Cruise

Amazing trip with Tassie tours. Weather was amazing, we had plenty of time to check Port Arthur and stopped along the way for other views or sights. Our guide Peter was great - really friendly and answered all of our never ending questions. Would definitely book again.

The itinerary was reasonable, and we strictly followed the itinerary. Pennicott Wilderness Travel Agency provided excellent service.
