A very enriching visit, showcasing the beauty and history of these different places. Thank you to our guide Renan for his availability, patience, and professionalism. He skillfully explained the rich past of these locations. Renan, keep practicing your French; you're doing very well, congratulations! 😉👍

I considered visiting the monastery alone but I’m glad I joined this tour instead as the guide, Leo, was brilliant. There are very few signs/information inside the monastery and church so having somebody explain everything (who built it, the architecture, what the carvings signified, who was buried there etc) was really valuable. There is no way I would have learned this on my own. Leo was genuinely enthusiastic about history and excited to share his knowledge with us. He made each story engaging and the tour flew by. After the monastery and church we went to the pastry shop, the monument and the tower. Belem tower is currently closed for renovation but Leo took us to the outside and gave us plenty of info so I don’t feel we missed out. Overall a very informative and interesting tour.

Rica did an amazing job in our tour. She was very knowledgeable in the history of Portugal and how all the places we toured fit in. She wove the symbolism of the cross, ropes, shield, ships, and navigation throughout the whole tour. We are the type to ask a lot of questions and she knew 99% of the answers. I was impressed. She did a great job and I would recommend her highly.
