Reviews: Chiang Mai old city half-day tour | Optional join-in tour by tuk-tuk | Private small group | Temple tour

It just so happened that there was a flower festival parade that day, and our group of six had arranged two tuk-tuks. However, one of them was delayed by more than half an hour due to road closures and traffic jams, making the itinerary very rushed. In the end, we had to cut two attractions and barely finished by 1:30 pm. The travel agency should have found out about the possibility of road closures during the festival earlier and made arrangements in advance, so we wouldn't have wasted half an hour. Moreover, I think half a day is definitely not enough for this itinerary. Perhaps because I like listening to stories about historical sites, we spent more than half an hour visiting the first attraction, and another half hour eating durian and buying some fruit at the fruit market. We didn't have much time to see or take pictures at the attractions in between; it was really just a whirlwind tour. But our guide, Ah Tung, was quite nice and funny.

The tour only includes transportation; everything else is self-service due to the distance. You'll need to plan your own activities and activities once you arrive. There's no guide; you're on your own. To take photos with the elephants, you'll need to buy small bananas (100 taels each) to feed them. Meals are also served to the elephants and are at your own expense.
Reviews: Chiang Rai Day Tour from Chiang Mai :Red, White and Blue Temples

An excellent tour! Our attentive guide, New, accompanied the group with care and attention, providing all the necessary information. The time spent on the grounds was perfectly timed to allow for a stroll and exploration of each temple. The organization was excellent.
Reviews: Premium Small Group - Chiang Rai 1-Day Tour to Baan Dam Museum + Wat Rong Khun - White Temple + Blue Temple|Optional Golden Triangle|Long Neck Tribe

Our group of 12 people from three families made it a perfect group, allowing for precise time management. The tour guide and driver arranged by the travel agency were both good, although the vehicle was a bit old and there were many mosquitoes as soon as we boarded. In terms of the itinerary, the places we visited were all quite good. Chiang Rai hot springs, Long Neck Village, Black Temple, White Temple, and Blue Temple are all worth visiting once, but not twice. The kids had a great time playing on the seesaw at the Black Temple, and the small shops outside the temple sold sweet and delicious mini pineapples for 20 baht a bag. For international travel, booking through Ctrip is definitely the most reassuring option; everyone, young and old, had a great time.

We were looking for a tour company that could accommodate us the day before our tour. Other companies refused because it was such short notice. This private tour company was the only one that accepted us even on such short notice. Their communication was polite and speedy. They arrived exactly on time for pickup and accommodated all our requests to visit the places we wanted to go. I think we were able to have such an experience because it was a private tour. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
