When booking, we could only select Italian or English as the languages, but on site we received a German tour, which was great!

Reviews: Rome: Catacombs & St Clement's Underground Semi-Private Tour
Guest User2026-02-05
Seeing four levels of Rome stacked one on top of the other was fascinating. From the outside, St. Clements was unassuming, but the interior was all the more impressive; unfortunately, due to restoration work, its full splendor was not on display.

Alex was very knowledgeable, and keen to share her insights with us. A very interesting and rewarding tour. The full tour is quite long, so you need to be able to stand for long periods of time!
Reviews: Rome: Underground Trastevere Guided Walking Tour
Guest User2026-03-09
The tour was incredibly interesting. We would never have discovered the neighborhood without the guided tour, and you see so many things on the tour that you wouldn't have noticed if you were just walking through the area. Currently (March 2026), unfortunately, only an underground area was accessible due to restoration work, so it was more of an above-ground church tour. Nevertheless, it's highly recommended and well worth seeing!
