The guides were fantastic, they explained everything in detail and made it a great experience overall! Unfortunately, we didn't have many waves that day, but it was still a lot of fun.
Reviews: Queenstown Lake Cruise and Walter Peak Farm Adventure

A wonderful crossing to the farm in the venerable lady of the seas, the Earnslaw. With a glimpse into the engine compartment. Of course, everything is designed for tourism. Spontaneous hopping is not possible. You have to book the trip and a tour of the farm. Without a booked farm tour, you can't get off the boat, but instead drive the 45-minute ride back (you can also book it that way). The farm tour is small but informative. You learn a bit about the farm, its operations, and the animals that live there. Feeding and petting are included, of course. Tea/coffee/snacks (very stylish) are provided. At least on my farm tour. There are other bookable options, such as dinner or a barbecue.

The tour was easy to find and on time. The guide has loads of enthusiasm for his job and makes your time with him really enjoyable. The trip was loads of fun especially for someone who is looking for an introduction to an adrenaline speed boat trip and wondering if it will make them feel motion sickness. It certainly didn’t and it gave us loads of laughs. The guide even pointed out various locations and landmarks I between spinning. Would recommend.
Reviews: TSS Earnslaw Lake Wakatipu Steamship Cruise from Queenstown

Experience of a lifetime. Amazing coal-fired steamer operating in one of the most beautiful places in the world. There are very few coal-fired steam boats still operating in the world, and this one is beautifully maintained and a joy to travel in!

Delicious meal with attentive staff. Some speak French and are happy to chat with us. The entertainment is very interesting. If we return to Queenstown, we will definitely do it again.
