Reviews: Tulum: Suytun and Ikkil Cenote, Chichen Itza & Valladolid
Guest User2025-11-07
Overall, a pretty nice excursion, it's just a shame there's so much travel time before arriving and returning. Here's how it goes from Tulum: you take a minibus that takes you to Playa del Carmen, picking up and dropping off people along the way, then you wait for another bus (over 30 minutes for us, and it was almost full) before you finally leave for Chichen Itza, arriving around 11 am. The visit itself is enjoyable, and the guide is engaging. The visit to the IK Kil cenote is magnificent but too short (you have to queue for the changing rooms, lockers, life jackets, and to go down into the cenote). I'm still glad I was able to do this excursion; the bus is comfortable with a toilet, and the guides are attentive.
