Reviews: Whitsundays Whitehaven Beach + Free Time Half-Day Tour from Airlie Beach/Hamilton Island

The itinerary description and the actual itinerary differed. The entire trip mentioned meeting at a specific point, but no one contacted us to explain the details, leaving us to explore on our own, which was quite confusing. Fortunately, the scenery was beautiful and fantastic.
Reviews: Ocean Rafting Whitsundays 1-hour flight + 1-day tour of the Southern/Northern route

The main reason for the trip was to see the scenery, but the helicopter ride was incredibly hot and humid, and we spent an hour in the sun. We also didn't see the legendary heart-shaped reef, which was quite disappointing. The speedboat ride was just a bit windy. The only worthwhile part was the view from the white sand beach viewpoint; climbing up was tiring but incredibly beautiful. A special reminder: the sea conditions here are complex. Two people were swept away by waves while swimming that day, and we later saw them receiving CPR, which was very distressing. Please, please don't blindly go into the water. Enjoy the scenery; your life is the most important thing!
Reviews: Whitsundays Sunset Sailing Cruise
Guest User2026-02-25
This evening voyage actually does not do a lot of sailing, but it is a lovely way to spend a late afternoon! We cruised out of the harbor, the crew hoisted two of Providence V’s sails, and we sipped sparkling wine and enjoying a gourmet cheese and crackers tray while we waited for the sun to set. It was a wonderful way to spend two hours out on the water!
Reviews: Airlie Beach: Tandem Skydive over the Whitsundays
Guest User2026-02-25
The Skydive was amazing and the team at Airlie Beach were so helpful and good to be around. Really enjoyed the whole experience and they keep you very updated with messages and emails. When I booked it said that I would be able to control the parachute but I didn’t get that opportunity. Maybe due to weather. Still a brilliant experience.

Such a great day! The team went above and beyond for the entire day! Special shoutout to Joel who was so accommodating with my gluten allergy and also for his amazing music playlist - everyone was loving it! :)
