There was nothing wrong with the itinerary, lunch and tour guide, but the attractions in Hue were really lacking. The Imperial City was not even a poor man's version of the Forbidden City. Maybe Vietnam is just a country of this size.

I really enjoyed the small group, which was very consistent and didn't linger. Our guide, Vi, spoke very good English and was very informative. We didn't quite have enough time in the imperial palace; I would have liked more free time. The drive was long, plus we were picked up later than scheduled and arrived a little early, which made it feel like we didn't have enough time in Hue itself. Everything else was wonderful.

Hotel pick-up was on time, the bus wasn't full, and the guide was pleasant. My only complaint is that the last stop wasn't long enough for my liking, as it was included in the allotted time for the entrance ticket queue and the large number of visitors. The complimentary peanut butter sandwich at lunchtime was much appreciated. I recommend this tour.

The tour guide was very dedicated and led us to every attraction. With a guide, we saved a lot of time and were able to visit more places without having to search around on our own. There were so many attractions that we couldn't finish visiting them all in one day.


