A group of six, consisting of couples, visited Nanjing Tulou on an independent trip. It was great that our guide, Nahwa, spoke Korean well despite being Chinese and possessed a wealth of insight into history and culture. The Chinese food suited Korean palates, and we had many new experiences. Ahhhhh, I want to go again!★

This time, I specifically chose the Yongding Tulou tour. The driver, Mr. Ran, and the local guide were both very nice. However, I have to point out that the actual Tulou itinerary differed somewhat from the pictures in the booking. This tour didn't include photos of the 7-star Tulou cluster, making the website information feel a bit unreliable. Mr. Ran's driving skills were excellent, but he consistently drove over 140km/h. Perhaps it would have been safer to use other transportation. Finally, since we were staying on Gulangyu Island that night, we wanted the driver to take us to the pier. However, because he was rushing to get us out of the Tulou as quickly as possible, he made us get off on the roadside and asked me to take a taxi to the pier – this really felt like a poor service decision, and I'd like to offer some criticism!
Thankfully, we arrived home safely. Hopefully, next time I have the opportunity to book a Trip.com tour, the contracted travel agency will be of better quality.
