We had a 7 hour layover in Doha so we decided to take a tour. Balil, our guide, picked us up right outside the airport on schedule and promised to have us back in time for our departing flight to New York. He took us on a 4 hour tour. It was great. He showed us all the important landmarks and neighborhoods in old Doha and in the new part of the city. The heat and humidity were oppressive even at night so his comfortable air conditioned vehicle was most appreciated. We did walk a bit in the sook, the open air market, for a real taste of Doha. Overall the experience was terrific. Balil is most pleasant, speaks perfect English and knows Doha. Highly recommend the tour and Balil!

Fantastic private tour! Booked 2 hours in advance and our guide Purna picked us up smoothly from our hotel. He even accommodated an earlier start time request when I messaged him. Purna was polite, professional and friendly and made sure to show us all the main sights and several lesser known ones that were fascinating. Comfortable and well air conditioned vehicle. Highly recommended this tour and Purna as a guide.


