We had an absolutely fantastic experience touring Addis Ababa with Sisay and I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough.
From the very beginning, Sisay was extremely attentive, professional, and kind. He picked up my mother and I up by car and completely tailored the day just for us, which made the entire experience feel very personal and special. He even extended the tour and stayed longer without hesitation, making sure we never felt rushed and that we saw everything we wanted.
Sisay is incredibly knowledgeable about Addis Ababa and Ethiopia as a whole. Everywhere we went, he shared fascinating facts — about the roads, neighborhoods, history, culture, and everyday life. His passion and pride for his city really shines through and he communicates everything in such a friendly, engaging way.
What truly sets Sisay apart is how much he goes above and beyond. He patiently waited for us, carried our shopping, took great photos of us and made sure we were always comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He is humble, personable, very friendly, and genuinely cool to be around — the kind of guide who feels like a friend by the end of the day.
If you are visiting Addis Ababa and want a guide who is knowledgeable, caring, patient, and an excellent communicator, Sisay is the one. We had an unforgettable time and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Truly a 5-star experience!★

Abraham is an excellent tour guide, he has fabulous knowledge of the Ethiopian history which he imparts with great passion. The tour itself is a lovely drive through the countryside to Debre Libanos going through interesting small villages. The monastery itself is ornate and interesting, the small museum nearby I thoroughly enjoyed. The bleeding heart baboons were very special and the visit to the blue Nile gorge was the highlight for me, I just loved this serene area with spectacular views. Thanks Abraham I could not recommend you highly enough.★

Very interesting to visit Debre Libanos and the nearby cave where pilgrimes go for the holy water etc. Beautiful view over the valley on the short walk to the Portuguese bridge.
