It was a lot of fun! Definitely worth seeing - it’s a once in a lifetime type of experience. We felt like we did it too fast but it still took us 45 to 60 minutes. You do need some level of fitness but if you take it slow you’ll be fine and there’s a lot of seats to take in the views.★

We all really enjoyed it , the skipper of the boat peter was very polite and courteous, explaining the whole cruise and history and the meaning of the rock carving, he even gave my wife the opportunity to steer the boat,it was an memorable experience for me and my family we all enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend it. The crew of the boat was also great, she was also very polite and friendly .. over all the lake cruise was very enjoyable and worth while for the price.. water was crystal clear … and trust me if you get sea sickness from boat and water, you won’t with this cruise, no sea smell or rough boat ride, just an amazing experience not to be missed and will not be disappointed at all…★

I was able to see the waterfall up close and experience the volume of water. I was seated near the front, so I got quite wet, but the weather was good and I was able to dry quickly even without a swimsuit. You don't need a hat, but if you do, make sure to attach a string. It was an incredibly fun and unforgettable experience in New Zealand!★
