Reviews: From Zagreb: Ljubljana with Funicular and Lake Bled
Guest User2025-12-07
Highly recommended! Slovenia is a beautiful country. Ljubljana is a small, walkable city with good food and a very picturesque historic center. The only downside is the long wait for the funicular to take you up to the castle. As for Bled, we really enjoyed this part of the tour. We loved being able to walk peacefully along the lake shore, see the Christmas markets, and try the local cake while admiring the castle and the lake. Our guide, Maya (I hope I spelled that right!), was excellent: very punctual, polite, and friendly. She explained several historical facts and gave us recommendations for different places to visit if we ever return to Slovenia.

Tour was excellent. We had rain all day but this didn't stop us from having a nice trip. It was still beautiful and worth the drive.
