Highlights
1. Please take the Sky Cable Car to the mountain office on your own. This itinerary requires taking the Sky Cable Car to reach the mountaintop. The cable car ticket is not included in the package, so we recommend purchasing it directly on-site. After the paragliding flight, staff will stamp your hand. When returning to the cable car station, show the stamp to the staff to take another ride up.
It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Queenstown center to the cable car station. Please allow at least 20 minutes for the cable car ride and arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and pre-flight preparations. Therefore, you need to arrive at the lower cable car station 40-60 minutes in advance to prepare for the mountain trip.
When placing your order, please ensure you are in reasonably good health. Before the flight, you will be required to fill out a liability waiver form.
Due to significant weather impacts during high-altitude flights, please contact the operator 30 min before departure to confirm weather conditions and verify your itinerary.
5. It is recommended to wear warm clothing and well-covered shoes.
6. For safety reasons, personal GoPros or mobile phones are not allowed during the activity. On-site paid photo and video services are available at a price of NZD 80 (for reference only, actual price may vary). Typically, you'll receive 20-40 photos and 2-3 video clips. Payment is accepted by credit card or cash only.
