Reviews: Small-Group Great Ocean Road Day Trip from Melbourne

The great ocean road was a long day, but well worth it! We stopped at Apollo bay and 12 apostles. The views along the way and at 12 apostles were amazing! We even got to see a koala and her joey! Adam was a great driver and guide! Thank you Adam!
Reviews: Melbourne: 12 Apostles Sunset Tour - Less Crowds

We loved the tour as we had several stops along the Great Ocean road en route to the Apostles. Graham our guide was very informative and kept the day running smoothly with his grandad jokes and music The best part for us was the helicopter flight which was an unexpected bonus as we hadn’t factored a flight into our day initially. If you get a chance , do it, as it was such an amazing experience flying over the Apostles. We later saw the Apostles at sunset which was magical even though we didn’t have the best weather x Such an amazing experience

Reviews: [March Off-Season Promotion] Melbourne Great Ocean Road Trail + Gibson Steps Day Trip

This Great Ocean Road day trip was a fantastic experience overall, a must-see! The driver was incredibly steady, and despite the many curves on the Great Ocean Road, the ride was comfortable and smooth throughout, giving me a great sense of security. There was a slight delay in picking us up in the morning due to a hotel location issue, but the tour guide reacted quickly, communicating and making adjustments promptly to resolve the problem. The itinerary was well-planned, the ocean views along the way were breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to see wild kangaroos – a superb experience! The tour guide provided detailed explanations and attentive service, with no forced spending throughout the trip, making it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this tour; it's a must-do when visiting Melbourne!
Reviews: Great Ocean Road Tour Plus Koalas, Forest Walk and Morning Tea
Guest User2026-02-02
The tour was excellent and Warren our guide was highly entertaining and thorough. The morning tea was a juice box and a cookie, so bring snacks as the first place for food is the lunch stop around 11:30. Beware, the route is very winding/curving along the coast. If you experience motion sickness, please take note. It would be ideal if your operators could mention this on the "What to Expect" or "Additional Information" sections. The bus is cramped in the last 2 rows, you are not able to see through the front as these rows are lower than all the others. But the tour was excellent. The Gorge, and Twelve Apostles are breathtaking. Easy walking even for a senior. The forest walk in a loop in the rain forest and can be steep at moments. We were able to spot koalas along the roadside, as well as kangaroos.
Reviews: Full Day Private Custom Tour of Great Ocean Road & 12 Apostles
Guest User2024-07-01
Grateful to Mark for leading us on an all day tour for one of our three days in Melbourne. We really enjoyed the Great Ocean Road tour including all the stops including the Twelve Apostles, Gibsons Steps (a good exercise), Loch Ard Gorge, Apollo Bay, Maits Rest rainforest, Bells Beach, and many other stops along the way. Having private guide is key since we could tailor trip and length of stops, and throw in a few unscheduled Koala and Kangaroo sightings along the way. Very comfortable and informative tour. The day was fantastic. Thank you Mark!
