A wonderful day from Hobart. Grant our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. They only take small groups which is great. Food was great from the cheese tasting, delicious lunch. Lighthouse tour was very Informative and interesting. A great day out with breathtaking scenery.
Reviews: Hobart: Bruny Island Tour with Hotel Lunch & Lighthouse Tour

I enjoyed the day very much!! There were a lot of stops for food, but actually except for the lunch, you are not eating large quantities at any stop. People should be informed there are many stairs involved at the Neck viewpoint and the lighthouse, BUT should inform there are handrails throughout. And those views were FABULOUS!!! I liked that this tour included the lighthouse!! The island itself was very scenic and we got to see a white wallaby! The antique refrigerators with the fresh bread being sold (honor system) was very cool, too. Oh and the ferry ride was only 12 minutes long and NOT AT ALL rough water.
Reviews: Full-Day Guided Bruny Island Tour from Hobart

We did the Bruny Island Day Tour and had been really looking forward to it and it absolutely delivered. Andrew was our guide and driver, and he was fantastic. You can immediately tell how knowledgeable he is about Tasmania and how much he genuinely loves Hobart and the outdoors. He also has a real soft spot for Bruny Island, partly due to his family history there, and that personal connection made the whole experience feel much richer and more meaningful. He’s super chatty, easy to listen to, and always happy to answer questions or just have a good conversation along the way. The day itself was really well paced. We worked our way from the north of the island right down to the south, with the tour lasting around eight to nine hours, but it honestly didn’t feel long at all. There were so many beautiful stops throughout the day, plus plenty of chances to try local produce and little delicacies, topped off with a great lunch at the Bruny Hotel. Overall, I’d 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hobart. It’s also completely sold us on coming back and spending more time on Bruny Island itself next time.

The Argosy Cruise through the Ballard Locks was educational and informative. My husband and I loved it.
