The ticket purchase was easy enough and great value. It might just be worth noting that nowhere on the description of these tickets does it mention how to get out of the harbour at Sanur. We arrived by Bluebird taxi and everything went smoothly, but what we weren't made aware of was that they only allow local taxi companies to take passengers out again. So we had booked a Bluebird with it being our first time in Bali and wanted a reliable service, only to have him shooed out of the harbour completely and left us dragging our cases for almost 1km next to the busy roads. Ticket process was fine though.

D'Camel. New, excellent, large boat. The crew is friendly. The air conditioning works, and there's an open deck. Everything was on schedule for us. The main drawback is that you have to book a day in advance. We missed it once, so we had to buy on the official website. Another drawback is that they don't offer children's tickets (they do on the official website), but it's still cheaper through a trip. And be sure to check the boat route carefully: on the way from Gili Trawangan, the boat calls at Meno/Air and Lombok, which adds 45 minutes. Overall, I highly recommend it.
Reviews: Fastboat Ticket - Nusa Penida (Sanur Harbour - Nusa Penida island) - [One Way or Round Trip] - [Optional Bali Hotel Pickup/Drop-off]

We took a speedboat with a transfer from Ubud (it was cheaper than taking a taxi). The driver arrived on time and took us to the ticket office, where we helped get tickets. The speedboat departed on time, and the ride was about 40 minutes. I highly recommend it.

The speedboat trip from Bali to Lembongan Island took about 40 minutes and departed quite punctually. The ride wasn't too bumpy. However, upon arriving at the South Island pier, you need to wade across the water. Since we had children with us, the boat staff kindly helped carry them to the beach; the service was quite good.
