Booked this for my husband, and he thought that the cooking class was very nice! He was taught to make three different starters, a Tagine as a main course, and traditional Moroccan tea. It was very tasty, and the chefs were super friendly. Everything didn’t get off to a great start though, my husband waited for about 30 minutes before someone came, because apparently they (Moroccan Cooking Classes at Dar Chef) hadn’t gotten the information from *** that we had booked a cooking class for that day (or they had simply forgotten). After calling them, they quickly sent someone to meet my husband though, and put together the class for him. He was the only one in attendance, because I guess no one else had booked the class for that day, so essentially it became a private cooking class! So it all ended well, and I even got to taste the food when I came by towards the end with our son. Delicious! But I would recommend calling or writing on WhatsApp a couple of days before just to double check the booking and other details. The number was a bit hard to find, but I never got an answer when I wrote via the *** messaging service a couple of days earlier to clarify the meeting point – so it seems best to contact them directly!

This was one of the best experiences on our trip! We accidentally booked it on the wrong day and they still squeezed us in with the class we showed up for, which was much appreciated! Learning about the tea, different spices, how to make Tajin and multiple side dishes was delicious and very interesting. Would recommend even if you aren’t an experienced cook! It was fantastic!

It was super easy to book, got a quick confirmation and on the tour day I got a message about the timing and necessary things from a lively guide Amal. She was super nice, spoke English and French. I rode on a camel and then we had a good dinner with music and fire show. I definitely would recommend this tour!
