We were so glad that we booked this trip to travel between Lijiang and Shangri-la. We had already booked our accommodation in both places, and at first were considering to take the train, but we are so glad we chose this option instead. The driver picked us up from the hotel in Lijiang at 8am and we went to a local market for breakfast, which I had requested the day before. We arrived at our hotel in Shangri-La before 6pm. On the way we visited Tiger Leaping Gorge, witnessed the amazing scenery along the way and also visited Songzanlin Monastery on our arrival in Shangri-La. Jennifer our tour guide was really great. She is a local Naxi person, and told us a lot about Naxi culture and traditions and was really interesting to listen to, without being too talkative or giving information overload. She also left us to have some time on our own, and we didn't feel pressured or rushed. The whole pace was relaxing and stress free. Thankyou so much for a wonderful day!â

Balagezong is a highly recommended stop on any Yunnan trip. It's not overly commercialized, and the overall tourist experience is excellent. From the 1700-year-old Bala Village and the Echo Wall to the Shangri-La Grand Canyon, everything is breathtaking. Balagezong is a place that offers more memorable experiences than just sightseeing, and it's definitely worth a visit.â

Highly recommended.đŻ The service was smooth and easy. We were picked up from out front hotel at Shangri-La. We took a private tour of 3 people. Went to Balagezong up until the peak. Then stay overnight opposite Meili Snow Mountain. We are lucky we are able to catch the gold sunrise from Meili Snow Mountain. Mr. Stone our driver and guide - is very helpful, providing us information about culture, history and facts. Appreciate it so much. If you are going to Shangri-La please spend time to go to Balagezong and Meili Snow Mountain. Worth every penny. đâ

The driver was very nice, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. I feel that Baishuitai is the most worthwhile stop on the entire Northwest Yunnan route. Here are some unedited, unfiltered photos for your reference. The driver gave us plenty of time to explore and never rushed us đ. There were no set meeting times; we could play until we wanted, and rest on the bus when we got tired. It's definitely worth signing up for!â

Today, I participated in a day trip to Yulong Snow Mountain. It felt very good to climb the large cableway. The tour guide and driver Ye Fan explained very well. I drove to the scenic spot to accompany us all the way. The free activity route was also introduced in detail. Very good day trip experienceâ

The time of departure is earlier than what was advertised. I was pick up at 05:50H. You need to download WeChat to be able to communicate to the Driver. I was able to meet younger Chinese who knows how to speak in English and we become friends đ They are the one who explain to me what was happening, also the Driver/tour guide will message you in WeChat to make sure you understand. There are extra payment if you wanted to ride horse going around.It was amazingly gorgeous experience. Youâll pay „150 yuan but it was worth the price. In leaping tiger gorge thereâs an extra „70 yuan for elevator used but itâs optional. The itinerary is a bit different from what was advertised but itâs was worth the price & we ended the tour around 7pm. Lastly, listen to driver than trip com message. The trip state Iâll be pick up @6:30 but the driver stated 0550 at the pick up Point & he was there. Good thing Iâm ready.The lunch was delicious & fun we dance đ Asa solo traveler this activityRecommended đŻî„
