Reviews: Tour Aconcagua Park in Small Group from Mendoza with Barbecue Lunch

We really enjoyed the ride through the mountains to the Parque Provincial Aconcagua. The geology along the way was fascinating. It was especially interesting to see the stream cutting through the previous channel fill to reveal many alluvial fans covered by the stream as it deposited sediment only to have another alluvial fan deposited on top of it. It is too bad that Aconcagua was covered in clouds when we got there but we still enjoyed what we could see. We were rewarded the next day when we flew out of Mendoza and could see Aconcagua and Cerro del Tambillo.

My guide, Ezekiel was exceptional. He knew the area very well. The horseback riding was e joyable and the area so beautiful. Horses were calm but active. Loved every moment. And the lunch at the end was memorable in a restaurant and winery called Tapiz. Truly memorable.

We enjoyed all 3 wineries - bodegas and it was especially interesting to learn more about what is behind this great wine from this region! Time frame of this activity was perfect, it was definitely worth for such a price. It worked out perfectly to get a little snack at the end at the olive oil factory. I recommend this for chill interesting wine tour with no stress or planning required.
