There's a counter near the Airport Link ticket gate in the basement of Suvarnabhumi International Airport. I'd seen a photo, but it seemed like the counter also offered temporary suitcase storage, so I was a little confused. I showed them the reservation QR code and they quickly handed me the card. I could use it to board the BTS, but when I got off the bus, the attendant stopped me and asked about ID registration. I was in a hurry, so I ignored it at the time, but later in the evening, during a quieter time, I showed my passport at the counter, registered my ID, and topped up the card. It was extremely convenient, as I rode the BTS every day for sightseeing and shopping.★

Even though queues were not as bad as some days.... maybe 30 mins to immigration.... I was off plane and through in 15 mins at baggage collection. Great experience.
