Very satisfied, the tour guide Albert was very conscientious. Although Table Mountain was not open, he tried to compensate us in other ways. I still saw the most beautiful sunset and a bird's-eye view of Cape Verde. This is much more convenient than I came by myself,
And there is absolutely no minefield such as domestic shopping guides here.★

Mthunzi was our guide for our ascent up Table Mountain via Platteklip Gorge. My husband and I aren’t flushed with youth and although moderately fit, we were a bit apprehensive about the climb. Thank goodness for Mthunzi who was young, incredibly fit but kind, patient, encouraging and engaging. He supported us the whole climb and joined our utter exhilaration at reaching the top. He told and showed us what we needed to know about getting ourselves refreshed, acquainted with what facilities were available to us at the summit and most importantly, how to get down. Basic stuff indeed but I was so fuelled by adrenaline at this time I honestly wouldn’t have had much of a clue. Thank you Mthunzi for being an integral part of our achievement.★

The original booking was reasonably priced at €63 per person, but we opted for the Fast Travel option on site. This cost us an additional €33 per person and involved a 45-minute wait. Despite this, the trip was worthwhile.★
