I know a little about Chongqing, but I wouldn't say I'm familiar with it. One day, feeling bored, I decided to give it a try and booked a day trip on Ctrip. After all, it was only 100+ RMB, so I didn't have high expectations. But from the moment I received a call from driver Mr. Wang the night before departure, I knew the trip would be great. When Mr. Wang discussed the pick-up location with me, he was very considerate, prioritizing my convenience. The Yangtze River Cableway ride at the beginning of the trip deserves special praise; Mr. Wang arranged it perfectly, making us almost never wait or queue. We were on the cable car in less than 10 minutes. Before getting off at Ciqikou, Mr. Wang, worried we might get lost, gave us a detailed itinerary, explaining how to plan our route and what to be careful about when shopping. Along the way, Mr. Wang provided detailed and humorous introductions to the attractions we visited, making them easy to understand and very relatable. Another point is that the whole trip wasn't rushed at all; we could control the pace almost entirely ourselves, whether it was faster or slower, which was really great. At the end of the trip at Hongyadong, Mr. Wang even said goodbye to us in Chongqing dialect, haha, very nice! The service was excellent.★

The pre-tour discussions were very useful and highly responsive to our requirements. Our guide, Yang Fan, was exceptional. We met in the morning and modified the tour based on the weather and suggested alternatives to some of the overcrowded attractions. He was very knowledgable, and responsive to our needs throughout the day. Great lunch and great company. Very highly recommended.★

I’ve been to Chongqing several times and I can’t believe I’ve skipped this tour before. What an amazing experience with this day trip. Words cannot begin to describe the beauty of the rock carvings. The tour company was great and the guide gave superb communication as I was the only foreigner on the trip. The morning pickup to the transfer service was confusing, but everything else went smoothly. What a great deal for this tour and I highly recommend this experience.★
